Today I had a great experience.
last few months my daughter take riding lessons, a few, actually, a week, when we, wedged between all the school work and catechism, and more that we do. I was hesitant at first but I became immediately aware of his enthusiasm, and then I, we have done the impossible to be able to succeed ... This morning he made his first competition (strongly desired by her, while I was otherwise). While his performance was (after twenty lessons!), I thought that with love and will do everything we own!
We parents do our children do many things, a little 'because we have not had a chance when we were kids, and a little bit because we hope that our children are what is most congenial to them, and maybe sometimes we lose sight of the essential move.
My daughter was there and was competing with girls who were riding for years! His first race completed without penalty. The horse that was riding had also thrown one of the girls who had competed before her, but she firmly kept him (I was so worried that I would not watch ...)
While I was at home I thought to go back to two students of my course design, with a behind two - three years of courses in various artistic circles, the other no course .... In our practice from the truth one day complained because the lady with no experience was better than she had done courses (!!!)... feel entitled to be good!
On how many occasions we are faced with this situation!
When I taught languages \u200b\u200bwere denied certain jobs because I was not "native" (considered a priori more experienced) ... in the artistic circles, however, coming from a literary-linguistic studies, there were not anything that I had consistently dedicated and love to study art and creative ... I do not show well, .. I was "self taught" (a word that is a bit 'shame, is not it ?)!!!
.. I mean ... you're never quite prepared for "those of the branch"!
On the one hand but I can imagine how it must feel who is dedicated body and soul from his youth to art and you see the attention to blow .. a banker, a doctor or a humble pensioner giving a turning point in their lives! (probably a reaction like that from my pupil indignantly: "What!" I commit myself for years! ... she has just arrived! ")
Despite everything, I was a supporter of the study and preparation technique ... but with reservations ...
PREPARATION AND 'NO POINT IF YOU LOSE SIGHT OF THE DEVELOPMENT CREATIVE! (And we must remember that it does not obey commands and to our times ...)
Greetings from Cristina
