tencniche course design and art, 2009-2010, in my studio
Coming to a course-study in my lab is not just come to learn techniques and design, is primarily about trying to share a creative experience.
Being creative is not always easy, but often it is much easier to copy, follow the work of others (also serves the obvious !!!)...
Maybe I should make a distinction between creative work and work "cognitive" or "out of pure amusement." The job "creative" I mean is that you can play, use materials, techniques and everything else needed to create something which, according to Munari, "did not exist before."
I think everyone of us (artists or not) should take some 'time to use their creative skills: who knows that we do not need a day, if only to remember it as a peaceful moment of his life (for me, the most valuable things that you can have)!
Often, not having answers wrapped, ideal solutions, my students look at me surprised ..... Children are more forgiving: they look at me thoughtfully and then respond with phrases like "it's something that I never did! " "All wrong .. but fun."
Andrea (9 years) a day, while experimenting with new colors, came up with a sigh of satisfaction, saying, "It 's true! Learn the art and put it aside!"
I will tell you that I (secretly) moved ...
Here you can see some of the work performed by
Alisa, Alessandro, Andrea, Angela, Elizabeth, Federica, George, Joan, Grace, Lorenzo, Luca, Manuela, Maria, Rosanna, Serenella, Simon ..
Thanks to everyone (parents included) for sharing with me your time!
