COMPETITION 2009
MITES Cultural Association, winner of Active "Young Ideas for a better Puglia" with the aim of facilitating information towards the issue
of narcotic substances among young people of the province, an open invitation to
contest designed to select young designers who have been able to better express, through works unpublished, the concept of addiction by drugs.
REGULATION
The contest theme is to tell and represent their personal vision of addiction. There is the possibility to choose the field of art through which you want to participate in the contest. The areas concerned are:

WHO CAN 'THE COMPETITION
Participants must be aged between 14 and 30 years , you can participate either individually or in groups (max 4).
The works must fall into one of three planned sections be indicated on the
form (Annex A). Participation in the Contest and entry is free.
must reach one and only one work to the art world. Except in the case of
the "Photography", in which the issue could be explained by several shots with the same conceptual vein (up to 4 shots).
REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION
To enter the contest you must fill Exhibit A (form)
and Annex B (permission to use the work educational purposes,
cultural and promotional Acari, non-profit) can be downloaded from the site
following email address: info@acari.biz by December 31, 2009. The works must be delivered within not later than 18.00 on Jan. 31, 2010.
All entries must be submitted in CD ROM format accompanied by a technical description (Word format) and a brief biography of the author, by post or by hand at:

FEATURES OF SIZES OF WORKS
• Graphic design: 's by graphic design should be delivered in version
paper and electronic version. In the first case, will be permitted to print
colors of an A3 sheet. With regard to the electronic version will be admitted as JPG or PDF at high resolution, not to exceed 5 MB.
• Photography : the work scope photography part should be delivered in hard copy and electronic version. In the first case, will be permitted to print color or B / N on an A4 sheet of photo paper. Regarding The electronic version will be admitted JPG or TIFF format at high resolution, not to exceed 5 MB.
• Shorts: Shorts scope the work part, will be delivered in paper form through a short storyboard and the electronic version in AVI format, not exceeding 100 MB and 15 minutes in length.
unpublished works are not permitted advertising and who have not participated in other competitions, exhibitions, shows. No law is due when the works are disseminated, published, used to promote cultural exchanges, special projects and not just for cultural non-profit.
The registration form (Annex A) no signature has no legal value. Therefore, the lack thereof will result in automatic disqualification.
The dispatch of the materials described above will be the sole responsibility and care of participants. For works that arrive after that date, will the postmark. The copies of the Challenge entries will not be returned but will become part of the Acari established for educational, cultural and informative and to give all the archived works as visible as possible. Acari ensure that these works will be freely available and free.

RULES 'OF SELECTION
The competition entries will be "loaded" on the site www.iodipendo.info , where they can be commented and voted on by users.
TYPE OF VOTE:
- pre-selection will be made online by sending an email to vota.iodipendo @ acari.biz
not later than February 10, 2010;
- specifically need to write letters in the mail in the name of the author and the title, example: "FRANCO ROSSI - TITLE OF"
- the body of mail address can be used to send comments regarding the work passed, which will be published online in a page created specifically for the comments. You will need to sign with name and surname;
- votes are not cumulative if sent by the mail itself. Or send an e-mail can only vote for the art world.
This first phase of online voting will determine an initial list of works (the top 5 most voted for the artistic works) to be admitted to the final stage, where it will be for a competent jury decreed the best works for the art world.
The jury will consist of three members appointed by the Management Association MITES, one expert per field of art reference, which may be supported by a representative as an observer of mites. The jury will be highlighted with special mention to other competing works of particular value. The jury's decision is final. All members of the competition will be contacted by the mites, and will be invited to attend the closing night ceremony.
Competition results will be disseminated through the local press and on the official website of the competition.

Salento in the Living Room for 4 people per week in a holiday home.
