The budget document of the Ministry of Economics classifies as "useless institution"
The Marconi Foundation is a "useless institution" to be abolished? In the government's financial programming document (DPEF) Article 82 provides for measures to be implemented to improve the efficiency of government agencies, suppressing, reordering or privatization. Under the sword of Damocles of the 17 institutions is also unnecessary Marconi Foundation (established in 1938), supervised by the Ministry of Culture and the status of which is a mix of public and private sectors. The Foundation's headquarters at Villa Griffon Pontecchio, employing about thirty people, mostly young researchers. State funding body is granted only after the ministerial tender (about 20% of the budget), and most of the resources come from construction, scientific collaborations and sponsors.

"I hope-Falciasecca hopes - that the parliamentary debates on the budget will recognize the inappropriateness of the State of 'fall out' by the Foundation, or at least to clarify unambiguously what measures the Government intends to take.
