How To Make A Garden Waste Shredder

ME AND THE BOOK FAIR IN BOLOGNA

"Here we read" one of the boards sent to the Exhibition of Illustrators this year

With a little 'late charge of this post on my experience at the annual Bologna Book Fair which ended on 26 March (which must have weighed a lot ... and then I also have little time to devote to my blog).
I always work hard to prepare five boards (they are 7 years old I send my work) ... a little 'because I already have ideas and try to implement them for future projects bookish, a bit' cause I can not send bad things only to have the pass. Not everyone knows that the Illustrators Illustrators youth can participate and not so young - people like me - are known and lesser known - like myself - with no membership fees, in return you are invited to visit the exhibition free of charge. It 's a good opportunity to take a look at the world of editors and artists, illustrators and writers, the Fair is not open to the public .. a real shame because the show is beautiful. The city at
Fair, however, is full of interesting events: for example, were on display boards for Lorenzo Mattotti tale Hansel and Gretel, from 24 March to 3 April (and I'm not able to see them ... accidentaccio!) - for those who want to get an idea of the blog can visit the beautiful picture of Anna Castagnoli "The Figure of the Books" (link in my profile ....). There was also a laboratory and an Octavia Monaco Munari inspired to paint a huge tree in the square ... (So little time ... so many things to do!)

The Fair is also an opportunity to find friends, make new acquaintances, and to recognize ... more ... passing through the stands, walking or talking sign books: I saw a glimpse of Linda Wolfsbruger, Svetlana Junacovich, Giovanni Manna (I like his books!) and Fabian Negrin (with whom I had a valuable internship a few years ago), and others less famous ....
never fails to make a visit to my favorite publishers: Corraini (to buy books and Munari ALTR), Dada, Lineadaria, OrecchioAcerbo, Cuddles and boogers, Nuages, ZOOlibri and Les Editions du Dromadaire ...
.... was wondering if maybe I did see my pictures?? Ah, I thought I heard whispering! ._______. no, but I got contacts! .. that's something for me as an incorrigible Timidone!

Above you can see the wall of illustrators, a space made available to the Fair to hang their posters, business cards and jobs every year is always bigger! Here and there you can also see my ticket ...
Let me conclude by borrowing a phrase that I found in the profile of a beautiful photography blog that I joined (to Maffy entitled "behind the lens" ... find the link list in my personal blog, on the side )
Punta to the Moon ... the very least, you will have wandered among the stars!

you soon!

3 Month Old Baby Viral Infection

worked as Illustrator ...

As an artist I have always loved working for the books: in 1995, had prepared an exhibition dedicated to Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities, edited by Prof. L. Lecci University of Genoa and expounded in the Public Library of Sanremo (IM) (found some work on my site . Then I illustrated a book of poems for children ("a ride" by F. winner and IEC, 2001) and it was not difficult: the poems were nice and I was immediately inspired by the images.
But work on the cover of a magazine on a regular basis has required a different commitment. I did not 'support' of a book or a 'base' to work on, I had to choose the subject of the table. It 'been a constant challenge!
do not know why I do not know how, groping in the dark for up to a week before handing over the table, and then, magically, in a few gestures, there it was, on paper! I do not surprise you enough!
In the slideshow below, there are some works of these years (10 years in 60 different covers and illustrations for the inside)
